This announcement comes in anticipation of the CIX annual forum, being held in Toronto on November 18th where the finalists, chosen by a selection committee of industry experts, will be featured in live showcases. The CIX Top 20 has been an important indicator of Canada’s best emerging technology companies. Previous CIX Top 20 finalists have included:

“We’re thrilled to be a part of the CIX Top 20”, says Bridgit’s Co-Founder Mallorie Brodie. “This acknowledgement will help bring more attention to the innovation happening in the Canadian construction industry. The industry is welcoming innovation with open arms through organizations like Canadian Construction Innovations and the Canadian Construction Association. Bridgit is proud to be an ambassador of the industry’s willingness to evolve.”
Using Bridgit’s Closeout product, general contractors and architects can quickly and easily communicate project deficiencies and track punch lists through to completion. The Closeout app allows users to take a photo of a deficiency, assign it to a user, and add relevant information such as location and due date. Via the Closeout web platform, users can review full punch lists, export sorted lists and more. “This efficient tracking process saves time and money on construction projects through reduced downtime, more organized record keeping and less re-work as a result of better communication”, says Brodie.
