Bridgit releases task management software for Android devices
Bridgit's mobile app is now available for download on any Android device.
KITCHENER, ON (MAY 31, 2017) -- Bridgit, a leader in mobile construction management, released a mobile application for Android devices today. Until now, the company's task management software was only available on iOS devices (iPad & iPhone) and the web.
With Bridgit, general contractors can automatically track and communicate tasks with their entire team, including subcontractors. The mobile app allows users to take a photo of an incomplete task, add relevant details, and send that information to the appropriate subcontractor. Subcontractors can also download the app to receive real-time access to their task lists, and quickly send updates about their work.
Android users who previously used Bridgit's web application will see extra benefits when they download the mobile app:
- Photos and photo markups
- Real-time access to task lists
- Send updates from anywhere
"Bridgit was created to fill the gaps in communication on site," says Lauren Lake, co-founder and Civil Structural Engineer. "Bridgit's tracking process saves time and money by automatically updating construction teams about tasks and deficiencies. Using an Android device shouldn't be a barrier to this process-and now it isn't."
With a cloud-based web platform, iOS and Android apps, the entire site connected with Bridgit Closeout-no matter which devices they're using. "We're delivering the same experience across iOS and Android," says Lake, "so everyone receives the same information, and the entire site is on the same page."
Android users can download Bridgit in the Google Play Store. The app is available for smartphones and tablets.
iPad and iPhone users can download Bridgit Closeout in the App Store.
